Girls' UK Getaway: Exploring the Cotswolds (5 of 7)

After one of the most comfortable nights' sleep I've had in years, we left the Inn on Friday morning, ready to move on to another gorgeous town in the Coltswolds!
Lost again (no road signs). Thank goodness for friendly locals!
One of the gorgeous towns we passed through!
A bustling main street
Mom on Sheep Street!!
Next stop: Bourton on the Water!
We had lunch at the little cafe in this picture. The food was definitely not great, but as the elderly gentleman at the next table informed us, the meal was worth it for the ambiance!
Crystal blue skies!
I swear, I brought the average age in the town down by about 30 years!
Here, mom is planning our afternoon hike!
And off we go! We went on a hike from Bourton on the Water to Lower Slaughter (and back). To do this, we walked across fields, through forests, and by little towns
As a sheep lover, my mom was very happy about our hike!
Approaching Lower Slaughter!
You should have seen how much the sheep loved him
Our main destination! One of the most quaint, peaceful little towns I've ever visited
Both sheep and crow enjoyed a snack

Look at the adorable dog in the window!

The route we took back to Bourton on the Water led us through a forrest and then by stables
Mom and Danielle walking wayyyy ahead of me while I stop to take pictures
We picked up the car and drove off as the sun was setting. Danielle dropped us in Broadway before she continued on to visit a cousin. Mom and I enjoyed a leisurely dinner together, ready for our last full day of vacation...
